DESCRIPTION:Members\, volunteers and donors– Call to join (509) 853-1917 \nWHAT IS ECRA?? \nThe former Climate Action Study Group and Speed and Scale Reading Group will now be one group where we meet on first and third Saturdays for two hours (10am to 12 pm) at the Starbucks Conference room\, 5906 Summitview Ave\, Yakima\, WA 98908.  We plan to meet in person unless the group decides to switch to zoom because of COVID changes or weather.  The group will be called the Environment and Climate Reading and Action (ECRA) group.   Meetings for November through January have been scheduled at the Starbucks conference room: \n\nNovember 5\, 10:30 to 12:30 (this is the only date we could not reserve the room until 10:30.  We recommend coming at 10\, ordering a drink and visiting with other members of the group!)\nNovember 19\, 10:00 to 12:00\nDecember 3\, 10:00 to 12:00\nNO MEETING THE SECOND SATURDAY OF DECEMBER\nJanuary 7\, 10:00 to 12:00\nJanuary 21\, 10:00 to 12:00\n\nWe will discuss relevant articles and books (the reading discussion will be the first part of the meeting) and then talk about actions we can take to make an impact locally in the second part of the meeting.   This is a self-led group – no leader. \nThis group is open to all interested members\, volunteers\, donors\, active in YSNN.  If. DESCRIPTION:Open to All \nFriday morning finds many members\, volunteers and friends meeting to walk. Although our walking speeds vary\, we all share an appreciation for exercising outdoors. As well as improving our fitness levels\, friendships have formed and a strong sense of community surrounds this group. The walking path is hard-surfaced and mostly flat with opportunity for short or longer circuits. We welcome newcomers. Meet the group at the north end of the parking area. One of us will connect you with a walking partner.
